A good friend of mine, Eric Martin, has just published his second novel "winners", and threw a dandy launch party last night at Cafe du Nord. Eric read a bit from the book last night with a musical beat and I have to say it sound's great so far, so get on out and pick up a copy.
The blog-o-sphere grows. Jeff Rueppel now has a site up and running. If you know Jeff be sure to hassel him about his default tempalte (or lack therof). While you're at it, hassel Thomas too.
Among the best reasons for living in London, is its proximity to exotic European destinations. (Posting from Nice as the sun sets over the sea). One of the best things about the internet is the ability to showcase photography. One of the best photographers online right now is Merci Niebres, and 'twas in Nice that she showed me her photos. Full circle? Well, check out her new site, it rocks.
Another friend of mine, Thomas Korte now has a weblog. He makes some good observations about the potential importance of having organized personal information online. Too bad I'm too disorganized to make much out of it.
Legendary Brooklyn-based guitarist and hamburger afficionado Spencer Katzman has himself a website! If you happen to be in NYC I highly recommend checking out a gig. The one at the Brooklyn courts should be especially good... Excelsior.
After a long hiatus, Dan Trachtman has finally updated his website! As expected, the results are nothing short of extraordDANary: A swirling kaleidoscope of color and originality. And gotta love the M.U.S.C.L.E. guys. Don't click if you're epileptic.
P.S. actually, I'm the only person that refers to Dan as D*Track (with asterisk), but I like the moniker, and hopefully he doesn't mind ;-)
I used to joke with my former colleague Nick Denton, about turning our company into a porn site, saying it was the only way to make money on the internet.
Well, it seems Nick hasn't forgotten.
British thanksgiving turned out to be a resounding success. I was going to post photos, but people seem to be potential embarassed, so here's the pie. Despite creating a huge mess in my roommate's formerly spotless oven, the Turkey was excellent as well, and I am still enjoying daily turkey sandwiches, made all the better by red-pepper hummos, which I highly recommend. Even our experiemental Pumpkin pie, which was made without several key ingredients, inluding pumpkins, turned out great. (we found a squash that looked more or less like a pumpkin.) Depicted below:

Happy to see that Andrew Sinclair has himself an excellent weblog covering all that is happening in his neck of the woods in Boston. Check out the fire photos, pretty wild.
